Using a Subdomain

Modified on Tue, 16 Apr at 1:15 PM

A subdomain looks like www.help.autofunnel.ai or www.images.google.com

By integrating your subdomain, you can display AutoFunnel pages on websites that look like www.consulting.me.com or www.arbory.autofunnel.ai. You'll set up these subdomains on your domain registrar and forward over each to AutoFunnel so we can see your pages!

A root domain looks like www.autofunnel.ai or www.google.com.

If you want to use a root domain, head to our help article here:

Our Generally Recommended CNAME Setup for Subdomains
1. Enter your domain with a unique subdomain into AutoFunnel. (Step 3)
2. Create a CNAME that sends this particular subdomain to AutoFunnel.
    NAME: [subdomain]
make sure to enter the exact subdomain you saved in AutoFunnel.
       i.e. "consulting"
    VALUE: live.autofunnel.ai
we're directing this CNAME to our URL so we can all see your pages!
    TTL: 30 min
       as low as possible
this is how soon your domain info will be updated
3. SAVE THIS DNS RECORD

Step 5: Go back to the AutoFunnel page and click I've done this.

That's it, you're done! The domain syncing can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 48 hours, so please be patient.

A Few Other Things to Know about Managing Your Domain in AutoFunnel:

You can assign your root domain to a specific funnel by using the dropdown menu in the domains area of your settings.

Or you can click Connect on the relevant Funnel's console.

To remove your domain from use, click the Remove button.

Or, click Disconnect in the Funnel Console.

The Status of your domain will display if we successfully verified the current CNAME integration or if we are still awaiting verification from your domain registrar.
